Rhubarb Dessert

The house we are renting has all kinds of fruit trees, raspberries, grapes, and rhubarb! I decided to bake with the rhubarb tonight to see if we would like it... it was soooo good! It felt really weird to cut a plant out of the flowerbed and eat it!

No More Braces!!!

Caleb FINALLY got his braces off this morning... he had them on 8 months longer than we were originally told because they over-corrected his teeth!!

First Camping Trip with the Camper!!

Jeremy came home to get me and the other boys so we could camp over the weekend after Caleb's birthday trip.... I LOVE the camper!!

Instead of a party, Caleb wanted to invite some friends to go camping and leave me and his brothers at home... they had a great time!

Triplets?

This is Matthew and Andrew with their friend, Matthew Jones. Matthew asked the twins to go to Chuck E. Cheese with him yesterday (was going to be the pool, but too much rain!) and when they came home, they asked if he could spend the night. :) Tonight, was Crazy Paint Night at church, so we invited Matthew to come along (he stayed at our house all day). They painted flower pots, painted with marbles and bubbles and a few other cool things as well as got their faces painted. :) As we were walking out the the truck after it was over, the 3 of them were ahead of me, they all had on black gym shorts so they looked like they were triplets with their different colored shirts. :)

Basement Walls!!

The Winn's house is moving right along! Today, they started on the basement wall system. It is custom-made, pre-poured concrete walls. They are suppose to be MUCH better than plain ole block. They worked through all the rain that we had today and said they would be finished tomorrow! Whew, that's fast!

Childhood Stuff!

I still had a bunch of stuff in my room at my mom's house as well as toys from when I was little in the attic... since she sold the house, it all got to come here :) This is the first load... it contained Barbies, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, my wedding dress, some bridesmaid's dresses, trophies, pom pons, and all my school records. :)

Happy 12th Birthday, Caleb!!!

It's hard to believe that my baby boy is 12!! To celebrate, Nana, Granddad, Grandma, & Mr. Dave came up and we went to Caleb's favorite restaurant- Buffalo Wild Wings! He has REALLY been wanting an iPad and we told him he could get one if he used his own money. He didn't have enough in his savings account until he got his birthday money today. He is one happy boy!

Jeremy was in the mood for his "trash can" chicken tonight, so we had a few families over for dinner. Good Times!

2 x 2 = 4 Twins

We went to the Harwell's tonight to celebrate Addi's birthday. It was the first time that Andrew and Matthew got to see the new babies. They were in love!! I forgot how much they like to cuddle little babies! Andrew (my oldest) is holding Aniston (oldest) and Matthew (my youngest) is holding Amelia (youngest). Andrew and Aniston's  assigned colors are green, Matthew's is blue and Amelia's is pink. Matthew thinks Amelia's should be blue like him!

Ice Cream Truck

I admit... I'm cheap, so I never let the boys buy ice cream from the Ice Cream Man. I decided to splurge today, so I could get a picture for the blog! I gave each twin $2.00. Matthew bought a $2 Iron Man popsicle and Andrew (little smartie) bought 2 $1 popsicles!

Tiny Valances

The camper has most everything a house does on a smaller scale... even the valances! Today I made 7 little valances for the bedrooms.

I made these cute little outfits for a friend of mine's daughters today, she is going to surprise her husband with them on Father's Day!

Corn Hole!!

The weather was super nice today so we spent the evening outside playing Corn Hole!

3 Musketeers!

Tonight we went to the Winn's house for a cookout. I had to get a picture of the 3 little ones... aren't they cute!?!?!

Crown Candy

Crown Candy Kitchen (in St. Louis) is one of the nation's oldest surviving soda fountains. It opened in 1913 and is run by the 4th generation of the family that opened it.  This is Caleb's favorite place to get a Root Beer Float!

Helicopter Ride

Jeremy's parents take Caleb with them to a food show in St Louis every June. He was 3 or 4 when this started. They made the trip extra special this time and took him on a helicopter ride!! He said it was awesome!!

VBS Family Night

Tonight was family night at VBS, the kids performed all the songs they have learned this week. There's over 600 kids registered... that's a lot of kids!!

New Puppy

Ethan loves dogs! He makes a woof woof sound over and over whenever he sees one. It can be on tv, in a book, or an actual dog! Walgreens had their Webkinz marked down the $2.99, so I decided to get Ethan his very own puppy today... can you tell he likes it?? This is him nursing before bed.

Our church has this giant "buggy" that they push the kids around in. Today, they brought Ethan's class into the sanctuary so they could watch/listen to some singing. Aren't they cute!

VBS Day 1

Vacation Bible School started this morning. The theme is "The Big Apple." The offerings this week will go to support a missionary in New York that our church supports (Freddy T Wyatt)

Camper Supplies

We started shopping for stuff for the camper today, it's like buying a new (small) home!  Sorry, my picture isn't that exciting, but it's what we did today! :)

Baseball Party

Andrew & Matthew had their last game of the season tonight. After the game we had an "end of the year" party under the pavilion at the fields. We had cake and ice cream and the coach handed out plague trophies to the players.  Go Giants!!!

We bought a Camper!!!!

After our camping trip last weekend and getting a taste of what camping with a camper is like, we decided to get our own!! We drove all over middle TN today and yesterday shopping and decided on this one. It's a 2004 Palamino Puma. It has a queen bed in front, 4 bunks in the back, and a big slide out in the middle. Perfect for our family!!! They are going to detail it and Jeremy is going to go pick it up next Thursday. :)

New Dishwasher!

Ha! Not a new appliance, another kid to help with the dishes!!!! Every time I have the dishwasher open, Ethan climbs up and "helps."

Winn's house is under way!!

Time to move some dirt!!! Construction started on the Winn's house today... this is gonna be FUN!! :)
