Nonograms

 

I let the day slip by without taking a picture so I thought I would post about nonograms! My sister introduced me to this type of puzzle a couple of weeks ago and I am hooked! If you like Sudoku, you would like these too... look them up online and try it!!

Poor Matthew

Ethan always goes in the twins room after they go to bed, so we put a gate up in the hallway to keep him out. Tonight, before we had a chance to put the gate up, I found him in there sitting on top of SLEEPING Matthew bouncing up and down. When he saw me coming after him, he laid down quickly beside Matthew. I went to get my camera and he was back to bouncing! When he saw me this time, he just laid down on top of Matthew.

What twins do when they are grounded!!

Andrew and Matthew both came home with graded papers that were so bad that I had to sign and return them and they both had to pull bad behavior cards at school today (Andrew- twice and Matthew- once) Needless to say I grounded them from all electronics and going to friends houses to play. They, of course, were bored out of their minds and decided to shoot their army men with rubberbands... those little green dudes are all over this house!!

Ethan's and Friends

The top picture was taken at DeLyla's birthday party today... aren't they cute?!?! (L to R) Ashlyn Jones- 10 months, Ethan- 18 months, DeLyla- 2 years, Lucas- 18 months. The bottom picture was taken at her birthday party last year, they've changed so much!!

See Ya!

The twins first Flag Football game was this morning and Fred & Janet (Jeremy's parents) came up to watch. I had planned on posted a picture of them playing, but HAD to use this one instead... Any time Janet moved her wheelchair, Ethan thought it was time for a ride. Here he is telling me goodbye on their way to the playground.

Blue Eyes!

 

This is Ashlyn Jones aka Ethan's girlfriend. Doesn't she have the prettiest blue eyes?!?!

Caleb's Surgery

 

When the Orthodontist took x-rays of Caleb's mouth after he took his braces off, he could see an extra tooth up between the roots of his front teeth. He sent us to an oral surgery to see if it needed to be removed, which it did! Caleb's surgery was this morning and he did great!! He didn't want me to take a picture of his swollen mouth, so I took it of his wristbands instead. :)

Austin Powers

I know I have a lot of pictures of Ethan on here lately... he's the only one home all day now that school has started back and he always gives me photo opportunities!! Here he is in his Little Tikes Coupe stuck between the desk and wall... reminded me of the Austin Powers movie. :)

Bathtub Swimming

Ethan has started a new thing in the bathtub... he lays on his back, kicks his legs and waves his arm while laughing hysterically the whole time... it is soo cute, but boy does the floor get wet!!

Mosquito vs. Ethan

We had babysitters come watch the kids while we went to Bunko Friday night. They took them outside to play and the Ethan obviously got in a fight with a mosquito... looks like the mosquito WON!! My poor baby!

Goodbye Paper & Pencil!!

Until now, I have used a pencil, ruler, big eraser and a large piece of paper to design houses. We found out about this drafting software and decided to try it out... LOVE IT!!!

Couples Bunko

Tonight, Jeremy and I went to the Bower's house for "Couples Bunko." When you got a Bunko, you had to wear the Goofy hat... doesn't Loren looked thrilled??

Plasma Car!!

I bought this cool little ride-on toy at the consignment sale earlier this week. I looked it up online and found that it is rated the #1 ride-on toy and that the weight limit is 220 lbs!! Tonight while Jeremy and the twins were at Flag Football Practice, Caleb, Ethan and I took it outside so we could ride it down the driveway (sloped)... it was so much fun!! Jeremy and the twins will have to try it soon! I love this picture of Caleb and Ethan!

GA Bulletin Board

I am teaching 1st-3rd grade GA's at church this year. Tonight was our first night and for the girls activity I let them design and decorate our bulletin board. I let them pick where they wanted their pictures hung... the OCD in me wants to take them all down and make it neater!!

Farmer Ethan

I shopped the consignment sale today and bought Ethan this Little People Barn and the overalls he is wearing. He is growing up way too fast!!!

Eggs Anyone??

Jeremy left the refrigerator door open just long enough for Ethan to sneak inside and grab the carton of eggs. Thankfully we caught him before he broke anymore!

Consignment Time AGAIN!!

 

I love Consignment sales!!! I am putting stuff in 3 sales this fall!! It's hard to say goodbye to baby clothes, but I don't have room or reason to hang onto it all. :( I've spent all weekend getting my stuff ready for drop-off to #1 tomorrow. It's a lot of work, but worth it to clean out my house and make a little money. :)

Cool Huh?!?!

The hostess at Bunko last month made these really cool drinks, I showed a picture of one to the kids and they decided they wanted to make them too! Cool huh? The colors stay separated while you drink it too!!

In other news... Today is my baby brother's 30th birthday, Happy Birthday, Rob!!!! 

Date Night for Ethan and Ashlyn!

We went to the Jones' for games tonight and while we were there Ethan took Ashlyn on a ride on Carter's 4-wheeler... Aren't they cute!!!

Working Out!

We decided to get rid of one of the set of couches in our playroom and replace it with a BOW FLEX!! Here's Caleb demonstrating it for me... now to find the time to use it!

New Believers!! :)

Andrew & Matthew have been talking to us about getting "saved" for the last year or so. They've talked to several pastors at our church and took a New Believers class. This past week, they have talked about it NON-STOP and tonight they prayed to ask Jesus into their hearts!! I felt bad for jumping up in the middle of their prayers, but I wanted to get the moment caught on film!! I'm so excited for and proud of my boys!!

Helping Daddy Vacuum

 

Jeremy was vacuuming downstairs tonight and I thought Ethan would enjoy the ride, so I placed him on top... he didn't want to get off!!

New but old toy

I brought this Little People Garage down from the attic since Ethan is getting to the age that he would like it... He immediately turned into King Kong and climbed to the top. He climbs on EVERYTHING, so of course, I wasn't surprised.

Yes, we let our kids climb on the table during meals!

We always play games when we eat as a family (which is every day). Today during lunch we played Uno Flip. Its just like regular Uno except that if you play a card that says flip, you get to flip a little guy from your mat to someone else's mat... if you land on the mat, you get to give a card to that person. Every time Matthew got to flip, he would climb up and crouch on the table for better aim... it was pretty funny.

Emma and Paige

The Jones' came over for cards tonight and Emma (Martin) came with Paige because she is sleeping over. Paige has been my "baby girl" since she was born... so hard to believe she is going to kindergarten this year!! :(

First Day of School!

So hard to believe that I have a 7th grader and two 3rd graders!!!

Open House

 

Tonight we went to the twins school for Open House, they were able to meet their teachers and see where their classrooms were. Andrew has been talking about how much he wanted Mrs. Hopson for the last few weeks and surprisingly got her!! Matthew got Ms. Coats, who's classroom is right next to Mrs. Hopsons... I'm sure they will both have a great year!

Working Boy!

I took the kids bowling today and stopped by Jeremy's office to visit on the way home. Ethan immediately crawled up in his assistants lap so he could "work." Mouse in one hand and cell phone in the other... just like daddy!

Beech Bend!

We went to Beech Bend Amusement/Water Park in Bowling Green, KY with the Winn family today. Here's the big boys and me riding the "Wild Mouse." It was a super HOT day but the park wasn't busy so we didn't have to wait in any lines. :)

Squeaky Shoes!!

Jeremy's sister got these for Ethan before he was born, they are still a little big, but I decided to let him wear them around the house since he is walking now... he had a blast wearing them and it was a nice way to keep up with where the little monkey was. :)
