Pedicure/Manicure

I went to get a pedicure with my friends Melissa (Jones) and Michelle Clayton tonight. While we were there, I decided to get a manicure too since my cuticles needed a trim. The guy told me about a new gel treatment (that my mom uses) so I upgraded... and boy was it an upgrade!! I went there thinking I would spend $30 on a pedicure and left spending $75!!! These nails better last!!!

We meet again!

We we pulled the pots out of the garage this year, this one had some, what Jeremy called, "weeds" in it. He wanted to pull them out and plant something new. But I told him they weren't weeds, it was whatever plant we planted last year coming back!!! Look how well it has done!!! Jeremy may be the grass man, but I am the plant/flower woman!

TN Aquarium

After Caleb's golf match today, we went to the TN Aquarium. We ended up buying a season pass because it was only $20 more for our family than just paying for 1 day. We plan on coming back as much as we can, there is so much to do in Chattanooga!! Oh yeah, the kids are petting stingrays in the picture. :)

Hotel Pool!

Crazy Day today!! We woke up in a camper in KY and went to bed in a hotel in Chattanooga! We did visit our house today, just long enough to unpack, shower, and repack! We came down because Caleb has a golf tournament here in the morning. He's playing in the TGA Junior Tour this summer. :) The kids were super excited to go swimming, even after going to the pool at the campground every day!

Funny Matthew!

We got this little pool for Ethan (he decided to swim in his clothes) and Matthew jumped in to play with him... he is such a funny kid!

Kissing!!!

The big kids kept telling Ethan and Ashlyn to kiss today and they did it everytime!! I finally caught it on camera at the end of the night. Aren't they sweet?!?! This is another one for the wedding slide show :)

It's CAMPING SEASON!

We are on a camping trip to Pennyrile State Resort Park with our LIFE group. We brought Ethan's pack n play but decided to see how he does in his bunk. :) I'm so in love with my 4 sweet boys!

Ladderball

The kids and I played a few rounds of ladderball today. It was a lot of fun! They love it when I play outside with them. :)

Redneck Waterslide

First day of summer vacation and the kids asked if we could get out the blowup waterslide! I told them I had no idea where it was among all the stuff we have in the garage that they would have to wait for their daddy to get it out, so they asked me if we had a slip n slide and I said no, then they asked if they could use a tarp and I said YES. I walked out back to check on them and this is what they came up with! They had so much fun!!

Orders!!

I bought this handy dandy chalkboard a couple of months ago and decided to start using it to keep up with my sewing orders. It stays full!!! I'm amazed at how busy I stay!! Stuff I want to make for our family isn't even on this list!!!

Clean Sweep!

Today was Caleb's Awards Ceremony! We got a invitation in the mail last week telling us that he was going to get an award but to not tell him he was getting one. When we got to his school today, he was super shocked when he saw us walking through the cafeteria to the auditorium. He later asked, how did you know to come, I didn't tell you about it (haha)! Anyhoo... he was called on stage EVERY time a group was called up to receive awards!!! He made straight As this year and scored the highest in Math on the TCAP than any other 7th grader at the school!! He got a perfect score!!! We couldn't be prouder!!

Life Group Social at the Morris' :)

Our friends, Gabe & Karly Morris, invited our whole LIFE group over for a bar-be-que today. It rained most of the time we were there, but it didn't stop the kids from having a good time. There's was over 60 people there (all in the house when it was raining). God bless the Morris'... they said they wanted to do it again!

Yard Sale Shopping!!

This morning was the first time I have ever gone "yard-saling." Now, I'm hooked!!! I got everything in the picture today for $40!!! The red chair was only $1!! It needs some work, but I have been looking for a furniture project!! I can't wait to go again!

New Jammies!!

Jeremy went to Walmart to pick up a few things and bought Ethan some new jammies that he found on clearance. This picture was taken right before I had to pin him down for some cough medicine... he used to take medicine great, now its a fight! :(

Twin Awards

Over the years, we have been able to juggle the twins being in the same grade pretty good. Their teachers are usually pretty conscious of us having to be 2 places at once. Today, was not the case... thank goodness their classrooms touch!! Jeremy and I had to stand in the hallway between the 2 rooms so we could be present for both of their awards ceremonies. It was kinda like watching a tennis match! Anyhoo, they both received tons of awards for their academic success this year. I had assumed that all kids made As and Bs in the 3rd grade, but when only a handful of kids were called out for stuff, I learned this was not the case! I am so proud of them!!

Lunch with Grandma & Papa

My mom came up last night so she could leave her car here to be fixed while her and Dave go to Atlanta to see his new grand baby. Ethan and I drove her down to Nashville to meet Dave and to grab lunch. :)

Matthew's turn to Pitch

The boys play in the Pee Wee league. The coach pitches the game until the last inning, then a player gets to. Tonight, it was Matthew's turn! He looked so cute out there and did a great job!

Sick Little Boy

Ethan came down with a fever last night and has been pretty puny today. I love all the snuggle time when he doesn't feel well, but I hate to see him this way. :(

Pizza Night on the couch!

We make it a point to eat dinner as a family at the dinner table every night. Tonight, I let the boys eat on the couch so they could watch one of their favorite shows. I love it when all 4 boys do something together. :)

Happy Birthday Jonah & John

We spent the day at Jeremy's sister's house celebrating Jonah & John's birthdays as well as Mothers Day. The boys played wiffle ball ALL DAY! I love seeing all the cousins together. :)

Grocery Shopping Helper

Jeremy, Ethan, and I went grocery shopping today. Ethan loves riding around in the shopping cart car at Kroger. He then  took a ride while Jeremy pushed the cart to the car. So cute!

Muffins with Mom

This morning, Ethan and I went to "Muffins with Mom" at Andrew & Matthew's school. They were both surprised to see me because it was at 8:45 AM! Everyone knows I don't do mornings. :)

Argh! Blanket

Today, I made this super soft blanket for a online scrapbook friend that I have known for years. Her baby boy loves tags so she asked me if I could make him a big minky blanket with lots of "tags". I love how it turned out! 

Jones Crew Cruisin'

Ethan and I went to the Jones' to play while Jeremy and the big boys were gone this evening. Keira wanted to drive the golf cart, so all the kids (and Brian) hopped on for a ride. When they got back, Brian said she almost hit a mailbox... good thing he went too!

Big Night for the Corley Twins!

Andrew and Matthew BOTH hit home-runs during their game tonight!! Matthew was going to pitch but his arm was sore after throwing a ball from the back fence all the way to 3rd base... the backup pitcher??? ANDREW!!

Queen City Road Race

Jeremy and all 4 boys participated in the Queen City Road Race Today.

Yard Boys!

Here's a picture of Caleb and Matthew headed to their first mowing job (the Jones). They are excited to make some money this summer and hope to find more yards to do. :)

Homerun for Matthew!!

Matthew hit his first homerun tonight! He was sooo cute celebrating as he ran over home plate.

Sacked Out!

Tonight, I went upstairs to put away laundry and stuff diapers, when I came back down, this is what I found in the middle of the den floor. Both of them sacked out!

District Tournament

Caleb played in the District Tournament today and scored the highest he has all season! We signed him up for the TGA tour so he will be playing all over the state during the next 3 months. He is pretty proud of his golf tan... he has an obvious sock line now. :)

Playdoh Boy

This kid is obsessed with Playdoh!! He plays with it several times a day most days! He goes to the cabinet, gets out his little box, climbs up into this chair, gets the playdoh cans out for me to open, then plays forever!
