New Golf Uniform

Last years golf team didn't have a uniform so they never really looked like a team. This year, Jeremy's office is sponsoring the team and got them all matching shirts, jackets, and visors. Jeremy and I put the "R" on the visors... another new craft endeavor of mine. :)

Kissing DeLyla!!!

While we were socializing after church tonight, I look over and see Ethan and DeLyla kissing!!! Matthew was putting them up to it! Of course, I had to have them do it again so I could take a picture. Aren't they cute!!

Little Boy Bed!

Ethan has been waking up around 4:30 every morning and yells "ouchie" and "help" until we go get him. He is saying that because he has 1 leg over the rail of his crib. Today we decided to take the rail off and convert his crib to a toddler bed. He wasn't too big on it at first... he wanted Jeremy to put his bed back together, but then when he saw the finished product, he was excited. :) Here he is arranging his things.

Social Studies Project

The twins have Social Studies Projects due later this week so I helped Andrew make a picture book of important people in Tennessee's history and Jeremy helped Matthew make a timeline of the Westward Expansion. Here they are, working hard!

It's Consignment Time Again!!

Consignment Sales start up next week so I had Jeremy pull all the clothes bins out of the attic so I could go through them to get stuff ready for the sale. Don't worry, ALL of these aren't being sold.. some are off season or too big for the kids now. We have to store them in the attic because there's no room in Ethan's closet and the twins don't even have a closet!!

Baby Chicks!!

The kids ALWAYS come home with goodies after they go to Nana and Granddad's house, but it is usually Dollar General junk. Today, Caleb, Andrew, and Ethan spent the afternoon there during Matthew's soccer tournament and came home with CHICKENS!!! Caleb had posted a picture on facebook and I saw it right away but Jeremy didn't know about them until he went to get the kids. We all thought he would say NO, but he was cool with it!

Playdate with Thomas

I've recently gotten to know a girl at church named Ginger. When she realized that her son, Thomas, and Ethan were days apart in age, she said... we need to get them together!! So... today we met at Kids N Play so they could hang out. The kids had a blast and Ginger and I enjoyed getting to know each other better. :)

OUCH!!!

A friend of mine that also sews caught her finger a couple of weeks ago and I commented on her FB picture that I was surprised that I had never done it. I should have knocked on some wood because I did it today!!! OUCH!!

"Thank you, Sir"

Grandma got Ethan this cute little Grocery Checkout toy for his birthday. He has been "working" most of the day today and I am his only customer!! I must have gone through his line 20 times!!! Every time he was done ringing me up, he'd say, "Thank you, sir." So cute!!!

Golf Tryouts

Caleb had golf tryouts for school today. It was really cold, but he did really well and will be on the team again this year. Jeremy says Caleb will be beating him before long. :)

Bubba Teeth

The Boys have wanted "Bubba Teeth" for a long time, so when I saw a 3 pack at the Dollar Tree today, I got them. I think Matthew's set is the funniest. :)

Mexican for Lunch

After church today the Martins and Enquist went out to eat with us so they could visit with the Jones'. Between our 4 families we have 15 kids... I'm sure you can imagine the chaos!!

Blackhorse with the Jones'

Brian has a 4 day weekend because of President's Day so they came down to visit for the weekend. We left all the kids at home under Caleb's care (well our kids and 2 of the Jones kids, the other 2 were at sleepovers) and went to the Blackhorse for dinner. I sure miss these guys!!! :(

Ethan is 3!!!!!

How is my little baby already 3 years old!!! Tonight we had Ethan's "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" birthday party at Chick-fil-a. He had a blast!!

Valentine's Day Surprises

Jeremy and I don't really celebrate "Hallmark Holidays," so he thought he would surprise me by leaving me this Reese's Heart on the counter when he left for work this morning. Little did he know that I also wanted to surprise him... I left a card for him in the basket that he takes to work everyday. Funny thing is, he didn't notice it because he had some thank you cards from his basketball players in his basket and it blended in... I had to tell him in was in there. :(

Superman Underwear

Tonight we had the "End of the Year Banquet" for Hilldale Hoops. There is always an entertainer there and for some reason, Jeremy, is always called up on stage as part of their show (Bro Paul says he promises it's just a coincidence). Anyhoo, this guy was a magician/pick-pocket and put on a great show. When he tried to pick-pocket Jeremy, he asked Jeremy where his wallet was (Jeremy doesn't carry one) so he got his belt off instead. Then he asked Jeremy if he would hold his handkerchief by tucking it in on the side of his pants while Jeremy helped him ride his unicycle. After he got off the unicycle, He pulled his handkerchief out and a pair of Superman Underwear came out with it... it was really funny. :)

New Craft

I've taken up a new craft... Handstamped Jewelry!! I bought a necklace a few weeks ago that has my kids names on it and when it came in, I thought to myself... I could make that!! So, when Bro Paul asked me what I could make as "end of the year" gifts for the Hilldale Hoops Cheerleaders, I proposed making necklaces. He thought it was a great idea and said that the coaches had been asking for jewelry for a few years. He ordered 44 of them!! I love how they turned out. :)

Too Much Toilet Paper!!!

We are still trying to get Ethan potty trained and are trying everything we can think of to encourage him to go. Today, I bought him a new potty seat that goes on the regular toilet to see if he liked it better than his potty chair. He liked it alright... it gave him better access to the toilet paper!!! You can't tell but almost the whole (full) roll is in that pile on the floor.

Father/Daughter Banquet

Tonight was our annual Father/Daughter Banquet for the GAs. I love seeing all the daddy's with their girls! Here's some of my favorites. :) Jeremy & Addi Harwell and Chad & Emma Winn. :)

Dining Room/Office "Remodel"

We didn't change anything in this room except for the bright yellow paint!!! The red looks SOOO much better!!! The Jones' are coming to visit next weekend. We haven't told them about painting this room, we are going to wait to see if they notice.

Craft Room "remodel"

I spend many hours in my craft room so it was the next room on our list of rooms to "remodel." We covered the bright yellow paint with this brown and I made a new valance. I'm going to add some vinyl words on the walls as soon as I get a chance and we are going to stain my new table when the weather gets warmer. :)

Kitchen FULL of Groceries

Our schedule is so hectic we aren't able to make it to the grocery store for real trips very often... we just run in for necessities here and there. Tonight was free so we dropped a paycheck off at Kroger! (not literally) The picture doesn't do the kitchen pile justice... it was crazy big! Good news... I saved $250 with coupons :)

Ethan + Markers = MESS!!!

Jeremy and I have a frame that says, "I love you because..." We write on the glass with a dry erase marker and pass it back and forth on our nightstands. JEREMY wrote on it for me this morning and made the mistake of leaving the marker out. Everyone knows what Ethan does with markers!!! He decorates!!! I was able to get it off the furniture, but it didn't come out of the 4 pillows he got it on. :(

Andrew's Growing!!!

When Andrew and Matthew were born, Andrew was a 1/2" longer than Matthew. Matthew shot past him after a few months and has been 1 1/2" taller since then. The last couple of weeks, I've noticed that Andrew appeared to be catching up so I had them balance this ruler on their heads today... Andrew is FINALLY as tall as his LITTLE brother. He is sooo excited!!

Caleb's Last Basketball Game :(

Tonight was Caleb's last Hilldale Hoops Game EVER! He is really going to miss playing because he really likes it! Maybe we can talk the church into doing a high school league. :)

Tie Shirts

These are all the guys that spent the night last night (LtoR: Caleb, Ryan, David, Josey, Mason, & Grayson). I made them all tie shirts to wear to church this morning. Don't they look nice! :)

Water Pong

Caleb had some friends over tonight and we had a water pong tournament in our LIVING ROOM!! Don't tell me we aren't cool parents!!

Spa Day at MOPS

It was SPA DAY at MOPS today!!! So much fun!! Professionals came and provided their services for FREE!! I got a chair massage, facial, eyebrow wax, and hand treatment! There was also a manicure/pedicure table (above) and make your own sugar or salt body scrub table. :)
