Miami!!!

Jeremy and I flew down to Miami today so we can get on a CRUISE ship tomorrow!!! We scheduled this trip with Brian and Melissa months ago... I can't believe it's finally here!!

Little Helper

Ethan had a blast helping me clean our bathroom today!! Too bad he can't clean it on his own... I hate cleaning bathrooms! 

"Soccer Mom" Shirts

Today I finished a big order for the parent's in Matthew's soccer club! I did around 30 shirts in 3 days!! 

First Trip to the Dentist!

Today was Ethan's first trip to the dentist. He thought he was BIG STUFF! At this age, they just like for them to come and get comfortable being there and aren't worried about getting their teeth very clean. It's a good thing because he wasn't a fan of anything the dental hygenist tried. She gave him the glasses to wear so the light wouldn't be in his eyes. :)

Indoor Baseball Practice

It is too cold for the twins to have baseball practice outside today, so the team went to an indoor baseball training facility to practice. Here's Matthew working on his pitching. :)

Owl Wreath

I recently helped my friend, Amanda, make an Easter dress for her daughter. Today, I came home to find this adorable wreath... Amanda made it for me as a thank you. :) I love it!! 

Matthew's Got Moves

 

Matthew has become quite the soccer player. He has learned some amazing footwork moves. Here he is going around a defender. :)

Andrew and the Dishes

The kids are in charge of loading and unloading the dishwasher. This picture was taken an HOUR after Andrew started unloading and me repeatedly telling him to get to work!! The kid gets so distracted!! I don't think a single thing had been put up in the cabinets... only a few things made it out of the dishwasher to the counter. :(

Matthew's Lil Bro

I made this shirt for Ethan to wear to Matthew's soccer games today. He LOVES it and calls it his uniform. :) I think the kid thinks he's on the team.

Lot 84 Progress

There's paint on the walls and baluster's on the stairs and cat walk... I love how open this floor plan is. :)

Little Referee

 

Tonight we went to watch Caleb's volleyball team play. While they were warming up, Ethan decided to do a little refereeing. :) 

Second Job

We are in the process of getting 2 custom homes going so Jeremy has been doing a lot of work from home at night lately. He will come into my sewing room and work on the computer while I work on sewing orders. I love that we spend time together even when we are busy <3

LIFE Group Social

Each family in our life group has between 2 and 6 kids (most have 4) so we have outgrown having class socials in someone's home. We have decided to start getting together once a month at the FLC. Tonight was our first time trying it and it worked out great!! We did a chili cookoff, made homemade pretzels, and played a huge dodgeball game. Everyone had a blast!!



Chick Recess

 

The weather has been so nice the last couple of days and warm enough for the chicks to get some fresh air!! This is the first time they have been out of their brooder box, I don't know who had more fun... the chicks or the boys. :)

Family Business

You know you are running a family business when a 3 year old is carrying trash out of a house. He was so cute!! :)

Ethan is crazy about Matt Jones' mom, Beth, and his sister Gabby. They came by while we were outside and had the convertible top down so, of course, Ethan wanted to go with them! 

Lot 85 Progress

The Painter is finishing up and the light fixtures have been hung!! Up next... cabinets!! 

Freezer Meal Get Together

Instead of signing up to take meals to people in our class after a baby is born or a death in the family, we have begun to get together in the church kitchen to prepare freezer meals. We have a lot of fun cooking together and love that the family receiving gets a good variety of meals that they can use whenever they need them. Someone on staff has to be there to "babysit" us, so Bro Tim comes to help out. Here he is helping himself to some whipped cream he found in the walk-in fridge. :) 

Consignment Shopping!!

Nicole and I went to the workers sale of one of the consignment sales tonight. We both found a ton of cute stuff and were wondering who would spend more... here's Nicole writing her "bigger than mine" check!! :)

Cute Pillows!!

Sharon, a friend of mine from church, asked me to make her some yellow chevron pillows with their last initial on them... I think they turned out really cute!! I had already bought some green chevron and pillow forms to make us these same pillows, but I never get caught up enough on orders to sew anything for myself. 

Holly's Birthday Party

Today we took Ethan to his friend's (Holly) birthday party. They were so cute playing with each other but he wouldn't let me take a picture of them together... surprise, surprise!! 

Say Ahhhhhh!

Jeremy has been having some problems with his teeth lately, so he went to see his high school friend in Nashville who is a dentist. Come to find out, he needs like 4 ROOT CANALS!!! They decided to whiten his teeth before they start the root canals so that's what he had done today... he sent me this picture, hilarious!!

31 Party

Tonight I hosted a 31 Gifts Party. This is my consultant, Kacey, modeling one of the new bags.

Sidewalks and Driveways!

Yay! We will soon be able to get into the houses without walking through mud! The driveways and sidewalks were poured today!!

Sweet Little Boy

The past few nights, Ethan has curled up on Jeremy's legs while we are watching tv and falls asleep in minutes. It seems to be his new favorite spot. :)

Spec House #2

I haven't posted a construction picture of spec house #2 since December!! I took this one today. The outside is pretty much done... just need to add light fixtures, sidewalks, and landscaping. The inside has drywall, hardwood, tile, and the stone fireplace done... next up is trim, paint, and cabinets!

Reading Projects

Today we worked on the twins reading projects... it's a book report on a cereal box. They had to come up with the cereals name that related to their book and what their cereal would look like on the front, the sides have the main characters, setting, and a summary, and the top has the book title, author, # of pages, and their rating of the book. They were pretty fun to put together. :)

I made our volleyball team matching tshirts today and asked Jeremy to put his on so I could take a picture to show Nicole... he came out of the bathroom like THIS!!!

Tonight, Matthew asked me to take a picture of him and his chick so he could show his friends at school. We couldn't get the chick to look at the camera, she would only look at Matthew. :)
