Pinterest Social

Amanda Ray and I put together a Pinterest Social for the ladies at church. We asked everyone to bring a "Pinterest Dish" (recipe off Pinterest) and Amanda and I led a couple of crafts from Pinterest. Everyone had a great time and look forward to doing another social down the road.

Play "Date"

Raeann had to go somewhere today and asked if I could watch DeLyla. Her and Ethan had the best time together! They painted, played with playdoh, played in the sandbox, played trains, they played everything!! I told Raeann that anytime she needed someone to watch her that I would gladly have her over again. :)

Baseball Buddies

Tonight, Andrew and Matthew have a game against the Dodgers which means they will be against one of their best friends, Hayden.

Happy 10th Birthday to Andrew & Matthew!!!!

I can't believe my tiny little babies are double digits!!! We celebrating by taking them and their friends on a scavenger hunt around town. I drove for Andrew's team and Jeremy drove for Matthew's team. Any guesses on which team won?? You're right... Andrew's team beat Matthews team BAD!!! hahaha!!

Twins Working Together :)

When I walked into the kitchen today, I found this!! I love to see the twins work together rather than fight like they have done a lot of lately. I also like to tease them and say that my twins are back whenever they are dressed the same... they hate it!! lol.

Going Gray!

I started getting gray hair several years ago and Jeremy has never had any until NOW!!! It's not on his head, only in his beard. He would have never known if he hadn't decided to go scruffy this week. :)

Cream and Sugar??

I always know that when Ethan get's quiet, it means he is into something that he shouldn't be. Today, I found him in the kitchen putting creamer and sugar in a bottle of water. He likes my coffee, so maybe he'd like cream and sugar in water too.

Adoption??

Jeremy called me this morning about possibly adopting a baby girl. He surprised me because he didn't hesitate in saying that we wanted her, while I wanted to think and pray about it because it was such a life changing decision. I was looking up scriptures about adoption online and came across this plague. I was drawn to it because it has chevron and is turquoise and pink (my favorites!!). After I was done, I closed the window on my browser, but for some reason, this picture kept popping up on my computer the rest of the day, even though there wasn't a tab at the top for it. It was pretty weird and has never happened to me before. I feel like it was one of God's ways of telling me that we should pursue the adoption. :)

Matthew went home from his soccer tournament with Matt Jones today. Beth sent me this picture of them posing with their popsicles.

3 Sleepy Heads

Jeremy and I watch a little tv each night until he falls asleep. Tonight, he was asleep before we started our first show!! I came out from taking my shower and found these sleepy heads.

Chicken Update

The chicken's are still with us (in the coop, in the garage). It amazes me how fast they have grown!! Ethan is really going to miss them, especially his "Blackie."

New Kitchen Light Fixtures

We are gradually updating this house for Brian and Melissa, today was kitchen light fixtures. We have had them in the garage for a while, but Jeremy isn't home enough to do little projects that aren't necessary. A friend of ours, Bryan Sutton, does work for us on the houses we build but he also loves putting things on and buying from Craigslist. Today, I texted him to see if he would want the light fixtures we were going to take down out of the kitchen and he asked if he could come see them. Once he was there, I said, why don't you change them out for me and then you can take them with you. He agreed :) So, I got new lights up and the old ones hauled off. Yay!!

Little Jumper

Ethan has become quite the trampoline jumper. He used to just run around and fall but now he jumps like crazy! It looks more like dancing in the picture, though. :)

Bluegrass Golf Match

Caleb's school golf matches are winding down for the year, Regionals are just around the corner. Today he played in a match at Bluegrass Country Club in Hendersonville.

 

Little Baller!

Ethan cries and cries every time Jeremy leaves the house to take the big boys to whatever sports practice they have that night. Tonight, Jeremy finally let him tag along. He had a blast!!

Balloon Head

Ethan had one of the boys draw a face on his balloon so he has been walking around with it in front of his face for a while. One of the few times he has let me take his picture and his face is covered!

Beautiful Gown!

A friend of mine from CPOM has 4 boys like me and is now expecting a GIRL!!! She showed me a picture of a gown that she liked and asked if I could make one like it. Of course I can!! I think it turned out so cute!!

Matthew Scored??

Jeremy took Matthew to indoor soccer practice tonight where he played in a scrimmage against another team. I texted Jeremy to ask him how Matthew did and he said, he scored! Then sent me this picture. Goofball!

Pulling teeth over Broccoli!

Matthew Jones eats dinner with us a lot and I always make him try whatever we are having. He's a pretty picky eater and he usually takes a tiny nibble and realizes he likes it and then cleans his plate. Tonight we had broccoli and it didn't go over as well as the other things I have made him try. Matthew Corley doesn't like it either and I told them both that they had to stay at the table until they ate a real bite. We sat there FOREVER!!! They kept acting like they were going to take a bite, then would "accidentally" drop it and have a giggle fest.

House Clean Up

Jeremy and I spent the evening at Lot 84 doing a MAJOR cleaning job! The subs have been doing all of their cutting in the garage so it was full of scrap wood and tons of saw dust. We made a million trips to the dumpsters!!

TV Dinners on the deck

Tonight, it was just Andrew, Ethan, and I at home for dinner so we heated up some TV dinners and ate out on the deck because the weather has been nice today. :)

Chicken Coop!!

It's finally warm enough and the chickens are old enough to leave the garage so the boys and I put the coop together today. We aren't suppose to have chickens in our neighborhood, but we were hoping to get away with it because we were going to keep them in their coop/run and no one would ever know. However... our next door neighbors saw us working on the coop and called the HOA President. He came over with a copy of the restrictions before we were even done putting it together!!! They will be moving to Mt Juliet to live with Nana and Granddad soon. :(

FIRE!!!

Jeremy's assistant, Jennifer, kept Yoshi for us while we were gone. Last night she stayed at her boyfriends house with Yoshi and her dog while he was away. Some teenage boys drove by and noticed the house had caught fire so they stopped to help. They were able to wake Jennifer and she came out of the house and then went back in to get Yoshi and Bentley (her dog). It was a total loss, but we are so glad Jennifer and the dogs are okay!

Our last dinner :(

The food we have had for dinner each night has been amazing and our waitress, Pamela and her assistant, Adrienne, were fabulous!!

Cozumel, Mexico

We spent the entire day in Cozumel at a pretty neat park. We rode on a ton of zip lines, drove an amphibious vehicle, and hand paddled a raft through a cave stream. It was pretty neat. :)

Roatan, Honduras

Today we stopped in Roatan, Honduras and went to a private beach to snorkel. The water was FREEZING but we were able to see a lot of sea life and a beautiful coral reef.

Formal Night

We've had a great day "at sea." We've ate lots of food, hung out by the pool, and played a little bingo. Tonight was formal night so Jeremy got to wear his penguin suit!

We Set Sail!!!

Our long awaited cruise began today! I'm looking forward to having a fun & relaxing time with our great friends, Brian & Melissa!
