I let Caleb drive!!!!

Jeremy has been letting Caleb drive his truck in the neighborhood for the last few months. Today, Caleb asked me if he could drive after we turned in, so I let him!! He immediately said that my truck seemed a lot bigger than his dads, but he did great. I can't believe he's getting his permit in less than 9 months!!!

Swimming in the Cold and Rain

We drove down to the Harwells last night so we could spend the night and today with them. Nicole's mom has a pool and the kids insisted on swimming even though it was raining and in the 60s!!! They were out there for hours!!

Big Jumper!

Ethan and I went to one of his friends (Eleanor) birthday parties today at "Kids N Play." Each guest got a ticket to jump on the big trampoline. He was pretty nervous at first, but once he got comfortable, he loved it!! The guy working bounced him up really high!

2AM Air Hockey

DeLyla has been asking when she can sleep over again for weeks!!! The twins were spending the night at her house for Hayden's birthday party tonight, so we thought it would be the perfect time. Her and Ethan played and played all night!! They laughed and giggled for hours, it sounded like there was 10 kids upstairs, not 2! Around 1am, I heard Ethan say it was time for bed, so they brushed their teeth and he came down to get a diaper. They obviously got a second wind because when I went up to check on them at 2, they were playing air hockey on Andrew's bed and both the twins room/playroom and Ethan's room were covered in toys!

House of Sticks

Caleb is taking Drama this semester and really enjoying it! He is doing a skit next week that is a modern version of the 3 Little Pigs, he is in charge of building the "house of sticks." He originally wanted me to hot glue the big sticks to the cardboard, but I told him it wouldn't work, so we had Jeremy get his drill so we could screw them on... worked like a charm and was a lot faster!! Yay!

Hiding Model

Ethan was so funny today. He was all for trying an outfit on for me, but as soon as he saw me grab my camera, he took off so he could hide! I found him like this on Jeremy's side of the bed. He didn't hide long, he started doing all kinds of poses for me, he had his leg in the air, did some jumps, and even hung off the dresser! Funny kid.

Lacrosse

Now that golf season is over, Caleb has taken up a new sport... Lacrosse! A few of his friends play on a club team and he has gone to one of their practices. Here he is practicing in the front yard with 2 of his friends, he was pretty embarrassed when I came out to take his picture. Ha!! 

Up and Running Again!

Our golf cart quit working last summer because it needed new batteries. Jeremy finally got around to replacing them on Friday, but it wasn't running as fast as it used to and the lights weren't working. Saturday night, while I was talking with Mandy and Arron, I found out that Arron loves to fix stuff so I asked if he wanted to see if he could figure out what was wrong with the golf cart. He was in his element! Jeremy learned a lot from him... today, he got the lights working and it's going fast again. Yay!

Church-wide Picnic!!

Tonight we went to the church-wide picnic in the FLC parking lot. The twins made me laugh when we pulled in because they were amazed at how many people were there... they thought it was a social for just our class!! It was great to see a lot of old friends that stayed at the Madison Street Campus that we don't get to see that often and also great to be able to get to know some of the newer people to our class.

Geocaching with my SISTER!

My sister, Mandy aka Amanda, called me earlier this week to find out a good weekend that she could come visit. I checked my calendar and said THIS WEEKEND!! I figured it would just be her and Michael, so I was surprised to see her new boyfriend, Arron, standing on the porch when we opened the front door. She had recently introduced Arron to "Geocaching" and said that they would love to find some here, so off we went. :) This picture is Arron, Mandy, Matthew, and Andrew checking out a cache we found in a fence post at Clarksville Christian School. :)

Consignment Sale Work

I volunteer at the consignment sales that I do so I can get in early to shop. Tonight was the end of the "Haute Tots" Sale which means it's time to sort all 120 seller's stuff into piles!

Dr. Ethan

When Matthew came in from school, I asked him to come over to me so I could check his head for lice. Ethan ran out of the room and came back with his doctor's kit. He gave Matthew a good exam!

27th Season!

Jeremy and I have watched every season of Survivor since the beginning! A new season (27th) started tonight!!! It first aired when Caleb was 2... I'll never forget him telling us that he liked a particular girl on the show. When we asked him why he liked her, he cupped his hands on his chest and raised his eyebrows... too funny!!

My 24th Birthday!

Today was nonstop busy including 2 baseball games for the twins. My "party" wasn't until about 10:30 after everyone was home and showered. Jeremy did good by getting me a Reese's Cup cake and did even better by putting "24" on it. :) I love my boys!

"William"

Matt's mom, Beth, is out of town on business this week so he is staying with us! He is over so much, I feel like he is a part of our family! Today, I asked him what his middle name was and he said, William. I told him that since we already had a Matthew in the family, that he has to go by William. He said, okay :)

Houseparty Picture

Last night, we had a newer couple to our LIFE Group (Ron & Debbie Davis) and the Syner's over for dinner and games (minus Lisa... she wasn't feeling well). I thought it would be a great time to break out my newest Houseparty Freebie... B-Damian. It's a Battle Board Game for boys. I have to upload a picture to the site, so this is it. :)

2 Touchdowns for Andrew!!

Andrew played great today!! He ran in 2 touchdowns!! Isn't this picture great?!?!?! Raeann took it :) She is sooo talented!!

Shelly!

A few days ago, I got a text from my college roommate, Shelly, saying she would be working at the Farmer's Market in Nashville for a couple of months and that I needed to stop by to see her!! She lives in Pikeville, TN and it's been 5 or 6 years since I have seen her. I had to pick up my sewing machine in Brentwood, so we swung by the Farmer's Market on our way home. I love how no matter how much time passes, we always pick up like we saw each other yesterday. Shelly is a true friend!

Teenage Boy!

I had to run to Walmart to pick up a few things after I picked Caleb up from golf today. He said he needed some new body wash, so we headed to the hygiene section. Once we got over there, he said, I also need some toothpaste, deodorant and cologne too. He's finally at the age that he cares about what he smells like!!! LOL! He took forever picking out what scents he wanted.

My GA girls

I may not have any daughters, but I have 30+ girls that I get to spend time with each week at GAs. It can get wild with so many, but we have a great time learning about missions. :)

Fall Ball

Tonight was the twins first Fall Season baseball game. I wasn't able to go because I was working a consignment sale, so Jeremy sent me this picture of Matthew pitching. He said he did awesome after he relaxed and got his mind on what was for dinner after the game. :) They won 11-6.

Wall Vinyl

A girl who orders from me all the time asked me if I could do wall vinyl and then told me her vision of what she wanted for her boys bathroom. I came up with this and I think it turned out great!! It was A LOT more time consuming than I thought it would be, so I told her to tell anyone that ask that it's a 1 of a kind!

New/Old Coffee Table :)

My sewing machine died on me again earlier this week, so Jeremy, Ethan, and I went down to Brentwood yesterday to drop it off at the shop. While we were there, we decided to check out the Franklin Goodwill. I'm so glad we did because we found this awesome coffee table!! I love it! The price on it was $30, but the first Saturday of the month, everything is half off, so we got it for $15... SCORE!!!

Flag Football

The twins first flag football games were today, they played great, but lost both games. We'll get em next time, boys!

Meisch House

We recently started building this custom home for Ben & Karen Meisch. The framing is done, now onto the more fun stuff! :)

Andrew aka Stitch

With having 4 boys, I thought we would be in the ER getting stitches more often than we are. Andrew is the only one to ever need them! He had to get them in his eyebrow back when he was 5 or 6 and tonight him and another boy ran into each other at football practice. Poor guy. :(

A & M

I used to take pictures of the twins hugging all the time, but as they have gotten older they don't like each other as much as they once did. Tonight when I asked them to let me take their picture, Andrew was game, but Matthew took some convincing. I can't get over how big my tiny babies are now, it makes me sad. :(

He's Going to be Packing!

Jeremy took the "gun carrying permit" class a couple of months ago, his permit came in the mail today. He is really excited about it, but I'm not comfortable with him having a gun on him all the time. :(

Goodbye Jones' :(

After we pulled out of the driveway to leave this morning, we noticed that the whole Jones family was standing at their front door waving goodbye. :( They are such wonderful friends, saying goodbye is always very hard.

Busch Gardens!!

Today, we went to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. We all had so much fun!! There were a lot of really good roller coaster but the one pictured above was everyone's favorite. It's called the "Griffin." It has 3 stadium seated rows of 10 and pauses just before you go down the 90 degree drops. SO-MUCH-FUN!!
