Our LIFE group got together tonight to bring in the New Year.

Caleb has driven a few times with Jeremy, today was the first time he has with me in the car. He's a little jerky, but not too bad for a beginner. :)

Sleepover without twin

The twins rarely sleepover at friends houses without both of them going. Tonight was one of those rare occasions. Andrew was sad, but I reminded him that he's gone to sleepovers without Matthew.

Christmas at Grandmas

We celebrated Christmas with my side of the family today. After all the gifts were open, I took this panoramic picture so I could get everyone in. When I went back to look at it later, I noticed that my mom was missing :(

Visiting Punk

My dad had major surgery on Christmas Eve so he is still in the hospital. We stopped by to see him and to exchange gifts on our way to Arkansas today.

Family Time

One of the things that I like most about Christmas is that we spend the day playing with all the new toys and games TOGETHER.

1 Cookie

Ethan prepared the cookie plate for Santa tonight... he only gave him 1 cookie because he said he got enough from other kids. He thinks the reindeer will be pretty happy with the carrots and apple.

The kids have been begging to open 1 gift all day and we finally gave in!

Learner's Permit

Caleb FINALLY got around to getting his permit today! He has to have it for 6 months before he can get a license... I can't believe he'll be 16 in 6 months!!!

Granddad Olympics

Today we all participated in "Granddad Olympics." He came up with "Minute to Win it" type challenges, it was a lot of fun. This was taken during the Olympics but wasn't one of the games... I think Jeremy is the only one that could do a push up with 4 kids on his back!

Tie-Dye

Today we turned our white PJ tshirts into Tie-dye shirts that we can wear when we go to Disney World in October. Nana even bought a little dress for Olivia. :)

We are in Mt Juliet celebrating Christmas this weekend! Nana made everyone matching PJ pants. :)

APSU Basketball

The twins basketball team played in a scrimmage during halftime at the APSU game tonight. Jeremy and I enjoyed visiting our old stomping grounds. :)

The twins Life group teachers signed their class up to ring the Salvation Army Bell at Walgreens today.

The Harwell's are in town visiting so the Winn's and Syner's came over to hang out. It's so nice to have a place for everyone to sit!!

Sticky Tape

I've been wrapping Christmas presents in our bedroom and made the mistake of leaving the tape out and in Ethan's reach. This is just a small example of what he has done with it... it is other furniture and walls too.

Duck, Duck, Goose!

On our way home tonight, Ethan said, when we get home, everyone but mom has to sit in the den floor. We said that they would do it after everyone had showers. Once everyone sat down, he said, "Okay, now we are playing duck, duck, goose." It was too tight to run around the circle so they ran around the couches too... it was funny!

TP Snowman

I guess since we don't have snow here, Flynn found another way to build a snowman. :)

A boy and his dog

While Yoshi frustrates me by still peeing in the house occasionally, I don't think Ethan could live without him. He is absolutely crazy about him!! Yoshi is pretty crazy about him too... he loves to wake him up with kisses in the morning and cuddles with him when he falls asleep on the couch.

Simon Says

We had ETC at church this morning and played Simon Says with the kids. They were so cute!

Christmas Shopping

Jeremy, Ethan, and I did some Christmas shopping today. You'll never meet a better behaved 4 year old that's being dragged from store to store.

Elf Movie Night

This morning, Ethan found that Flynn had himself a little movie night... we have a feeling he watched the movie "Elf."

Yoshi's Thanksgiving Dinner

It's time to throw our Thanksgiving leftovers away... Jeremy decided to give Yoshi a taste before it went in the trash.

Caleb & Callie

This is Caleb and his friend, Callie. They are "dating" but not boyfriend /girlfriend. The twins don't understand what that means!! lol.

Christmas Card Picture

The temperature was in the 60's today... perfect for taking family pictures for the Christmas card!! I threw what everyone was wearing together right before we left the house, next year I hope to be more prepared!

Matthew's Turn

Today, he took Matthew. They didn't see any deer either but I know they had fun by looking at Jeremy's silly grin. lol

Hunting with Andrew

Jeremy took Andrew hunting this morning, they didn't see anything, but I know they enjoyed spending one on one time together. :)

Cracker Barrel Thanksgiving

Jeremy found out that he is still contagious so we stayed home for Thanksgiving. We got Cracker Barrel's Thanksgiving Dinner to go. It was okay, but nothing beats Mamaws!

Finally taking the mixer out of the box!

I bought Jeremy this Kitchenaid mixer for his birthday about a month ago and it has sat in the box until now!! He's getting it out to make Pumpkin and Pecan Pies. Yum!

Carrom

Fred & Janet came up to visit today and brought this game (Carrom) to play with the boys. You are teamed with the person across from you and you have to flick your teams colored disk into the corner pockets with a shooter disk. It was a lot of fun but hurt your fingers if you didn't use the right flicking technique!

Shingles!!

Shingles are now going on the house!!

Lincoln Logs

Matthew is great about getting in the floor to play with Ethan. Tonight it was Lincoln Logs. :)

Where's Ethan??

I walked into the den today and saw these little peepers behind the pillow. It's crazy that  he can fit behind the pillow like this, he's almost 5!

SLIDE!!!!

They framed the slide today!! It is definitely my favorite thing in our new house! So fun!! 

Arm Wrestling

How cute are Matthew and Ethan?!?! You'd think Matthew would let Ethan win, but he hates to lose too much, lol!

Sick Jeremy

Jeremy hardly ever gets sick, but when he does, it hits him hard!! He has the flu and is pretty miserable. Pray that no one else gets it!

CHS Class Flag

A teacher from CHS called me a few weeks ago and said they were looking for a new person to make their Senior Flags and someone gave her my name. It was a lot more work than I expected it to be, but the paycheck made it well worth it. :)

Little Workers

Jeremy took the boys with him to our spec house and put them to work! They helped with the door knobs. :)

Broncos Game

Jeremy and the 3 big boys went to the Broncos/Rams game today with Brian and their 3 oldest. It was the twins first NFL game.

City Museum

We drove to St Louis after the boys basketball game last night to meet the Jones!! We spent HOURS here at the City Museum. The kids loved it!!!

First Hoops Game

The twins played their first Hoops game tonight and killed the other team!
