Goodbye Green Expo, see you soon!

The reason my sister came to visit was to buy our green expedition!! She told me that she wanted to buy it when we decided to get rid of it back in November. She wanted something that could hold more people now that her and Arron are together. We've had it for 11 years!!! It's hard to say goodbye, but nice that's its staying in the family... we've had a lot of memories in it.

Polly want a cracker er to play fetch?

My sister, Arron, Michael, and Owen came up to visit and brought a bird for my kids to play with. He isn't one that talks, but he plays fetch! lol.

Ethan's first sleepover

Tonight was Ethan's first time to sleep over at a friends house. I know it's not normal to spend the night with the opposite sex, but DeLyla is his best friend and I couldn't imagine his first sleepover to be with anyone else. :)

Neko Sleepover

The twins friend, Neko, is spending the night tonight. He lives a few houses away and they play together all the time but this is his first sleepover with them.

Silent Art Auction

Our church does a Silent Art Auction to raise money for Missions each Spring. This year I decided to make a pillow because I found this awesome embroidery design. I love how it turned out. :)

E-T-H-A-N

I have been teaching Ethan to write his name for the past few weeks and tonight he finally did the whole thing by himself with no help on a birthday card for Keira Jones. He was soooo proud of himself!! And I am sooo proud of him too!

Rock City

You can't come to Chattanooga without doing something! This morning we went the the Children's Museum, and this afternoon we came to Rock City. :)

BMW

Jeremy has been driving my old expedition for the past 4 years. He was recently chosen as a "Endorsed Local Provider" for Dave Ramsey and his territory goes up into Kentucky, so he will have to be driving more for work and wanted to get something that isn't a gas guzzler. He found a few cars he wanted to look at on Craigslist, so we drove to Bowling Green this morning to look at a couple (junk) and then to Chattanooga tonight to see this one. It's an 03 but in great shape and cheap!

Twins School Awards

It was Awards Day for Andrew and Matthew today. They received a few awards, but not as many as they have gotten in the past... 5th grade and the new "core curriculum" isn't so easy!!

Fabric District in LA

Fred and Janet's cruise is over, but she's still sending me pictures that make me jealous!!! They are in LA now and she went to the "fabric district"!!!! I would love to be able to go there someday, it sounds amazing!!! She bought me a bunch of fabric and I am so grateful! :)

Warm weather is here!!

One of the first signs of spring for me is the fact that it is warm enough for Ethan to pee outside instead of going inside!! He's lucky I got behind the table to take his picture. :)

Little Leprechaun

Yesterday was St Patricks Day so Ethan made this cute little Leprechaun hat and beard at school today! Ha!!

Cubbies

A few months ago, I won a contest on facebook because I had the same birthday as the shop owner. Her name is Heather and she lives in Texas. We've become friends and text each other every day now! She decided to buy an embroidery machine and I found one like mine on eBay for a steal, so she got it. She found these cute stuffed animals for embroidery but wasn't having luck getting the embroidery straight because she doesn't have enough experience, so she sent them to me so I could do them for her customers. I think they are so cute!!

Caleb and his caddie, Logan

Caleb and his best friend, Logan, both registered for a golf tournament that allowed a limited number of players. Caleb was drawn to play, but Logan was not so Caleb asked him to come and caddie for him. Jeremy said they had the best time together and Caleb would take Logan's golf advice every now and then, :)

Prime Fitness Family Night

Jeremy's gym, Prime Fitness, hosted a family night tonight. They rented a game truck (what Matt and Matt are in above) and had laser tag inside. The boys had a lot of fun!

"Pounding" our new youth pastor

Our new youth pastor, Michael McDaniel, and his family are moving to Clarksville today! Our life group decided to "pound" them. "Pounding" is stocking their kitchen with stuff like a pound of sugar, a pound of flour, etc. We bought food to last them a few days without having to run to the store. Jeremy had the key to their temporary apartment, so we were able to sneak in and do it before they got here.

Vinyl Storage

I haven't had a place for my scrapbook paper trays since we moved out of the house we built 4 years ago, so they have been in storage at Jeremy's office. Now that I have a new (to me) desk in my craft room, I have room to for them underneath. They are perfect for storing my vinyl. :)

Consigment Sale

Tonight I worked the Little Lambs and Ivy Consignment Sale. I always look for clothes for Nicole's twins while I work and send tons of pictures to her so she can tell me what she wants me to buy. My friend, Tiffani, is my clothes holder. It's a team effort. :)

Hawaiian Cruise

Fred and Janet are on a Hawaiian cruise right now and Janet keeps sending me pictures!! I love that they are having a good time, but does she really have to rub it in so much?? ;)

Training Wheels

This bike was one of the twins when they were little. The training wheels were lost in one of our many moves, so we bought new ones today. Ethan is ready to roll now!

Old Home Movies

The kids and I watched a bunch of old home movies today. This is Andrew when we were celebrating Christmas at Fred and Janet's in 2003. Isn't he cute??? Why do they have to grow up so fast!!

Volleyball

Jeremy and I are playing in a coed volleyball league on Thursday nights right now. I meant to take a picture of him while we were inside, but forgot, so I snapped this when we got in the car. You can see how much snow we still have in the background. :) I LOVE MY HUSBAND!!!

Twisted Shirt

We've been throwing the kids clothes in the dryer between their trips outside to play in the snow. Andrew's shirt sleeve got closed in the door when he put them in and this is what I found when I went to take them out!! It was twisted so tight!

Sledding!

Jeremy took the boys to the the hill at the front of our neighborhood to sled tonight. They had a lot of fun!

We got SNOW!!!

Well, it's mostly ice with a little layer of snow on the top, but I'll take it!! The temperature isn't suppose to get above freezing for a few days, so it looks like it will be here for a while. :)

Printer Cabinet

The past couple of days, Jeremy and I have been working on this cabinet for his new office. We love doing DIY projects together. It makes me anxious to get going on our new house!!

13 Dead End Drive

My mom sends boxes of my childhood stuff home with me each time we go down for a visit. I went through a box of board games a couple of days ago and the twins and I decided to play a few. This one is called 13 Dead End Drive. They love it so we will be keeping it in our collection. :)
