My sewing helper

I spend most of every day working in my craft room and this little guy is usually sitting in my lap as I work. He spends so much time watching what I do that he could probably do it on his own if I let him! Today, he crawled up on my desk so he could pick out some colors that he wanted me to use next. :)

College Recruitment

We recently learned that now is the time to get Caleb's name out there to be recruited for a college golf team. This is him and Jeremy working on his profile online.

Bod Pod

Jeremy participated in a fitness study at Lipscomb University. This is him in the "bod pod," it measures your fat percentage. Jeremy was surprised with his results, he is only 4% body fat!!! Crazy!

Frozen Dress

A friend of mine asked me to make a "Frozen" dress for her little girl. It took a lot of time since it has 3 appliques, but I love how it turned out. :)

Baby Dogwood

The dogwood tree that Lisa gave us when we had the miscarriage died when I brought it in the house for the winter... but I didn't give up on it. I took it back outside when the weather got warm enough and look what happened... lots of baby dogwood trees!! This fall, I am going to go plant it on our lot so it can get out of this pot.

Happy Birthday, Nana!

We've had a partying weekend! Today is Janet's birthday, so we all came down to surprise her. :)

Happy Birthday, Lisa!

The Harwells came to town for the weekend, so we decided to throw Lisa a little birthday party. She is the youngest in our group of friends, so Jeremy put my 24 candles on the cake. :)

End of School Bash at the Syner's

The Syner's had a End of School Party at their house tonight. Notice that the 2 kids on the right are my nephews!! Warren came up to spend the next month here to train with Jeremy to get him ready for football at his community college and Michael rode up with him to stay for a week.

No more Bus rides for the twins!

Today was the last day of school and the last day for the twins to ride the bus! Jeremy will drive them to middle school in the fall, then Caleb will start taking them next year.

5th Grade Promotion

 Today was the twins 5th grade promotion ceremony, I can't believe my babies are headed to Middle School!!

Matthew's Piano Recital

Even though Matthew has only been playing for a few months, he was still able to participate in the recital. He is a natural and has learned very quickly. He did a great job!

Butter!!!

3rd times a charm!! I finally made butter and it is soooo good!!!

4-some

Jeremy took all 4 boys to play golf today. I love that it's something they can do together!! Even little Ethan. :)

Sick Matthew

Matthew spend the day on the couch.. he's caught a stomach bug and feels awful. :(

Field Day

The twins had field day at school today. I love this action shot that another mom sent to me.

Last day of Preschool!

I can't believe that Ethan's school year is already over!! He has learned so much this year and absolutely loved going to school!! He's going to miss having Ms. Ashley as a teacher, but he will get to see her again in the fall when he goes back for Pre-K!

Upstairs is Done!!

Now that the upstairs is done, it's time to work on the exterior!! I'm so excited about this plan!!

Mammogram

My doctor told me to get a baseline mammogram done at my annual appointment last year. I had no desire to have it done, because I've only heard how awful they are. When he found out that I never went during my appt. this year, he had the nurse make the appointment for me. It wasn't bad at all!!! I can't believe I was too chicken to do it the past year!!

Aniston & Amelia are 3!!!

Today is the Harwell girls 3rd birthday. Nicole wanted to send me a picture of them in the shirts I made but they wouldn't cooperate until she told them she was sending the picture to Ethan... they love Ethan. :)

Mother's Day Card

Today is Mother's Day and Matthew made me this sweet card. It also had a piece of candy on it, but as soon as I told him I didn't like "atomic fire balls," he popped it in his mouth.

Happy 40th to John

Jeremy's sister, Wendy, threw a surprise birthday Luau for John's 40th birthday. He was totally surprised! Isn't the pig cake she made awesome?

Bunnies!!

The twins friend, Cliff, bred his bunnies and got a litter of 5. All we have heard from the twins the last few weeks is WE WANT BUNNIES!! I decided that since we still had the chicken coop, that my mom could get them for them for their birthday. They were weaned from their mother this week and we were able to pick them up today.

No more Braces!!

Caleb got his second set of braces off today and is now done forever!! He still has to wear a retainer at night, but I'm sure it feels good to have all that metal out of his mouth!

Our Sonic Girl!

We went to Sonic to grab dinner tonight and was surprised to see that Gabby was working! She normally works at another store, but this store called her in for the first time tonight. :)

Gotcha!

The kids love it when Jeremy and I come out to play basketball with them. "Gotcha" is our favorite, it's fun because you never know who is going to win. :)

Butter FAIL!!

I can't figure out why Bro Tim can make butter with his raw milk cream, but I can't!!! I'm starting to think he isn't telling me something. I'm going to get it right one of these days!!

Duck, Duck, Goose!

Andrew & Matthew asked to help us with ETC this morning... they had a lot of fun playing DUck, Duck, Goose with Ethan and his friends.

Queen City Road Race

Jeremy, Andrew & Matthew ran the 5K in the Queen City Road Race this morning. The twins have been training in the Run Club at school the past few weeks and both did really well. Jeremy was surprised at himself too since he doesn't ever run.

Golf Lessons

Andrew & Matthew had golf lessons with Caleb's coach today. Caleb is not thrilled that they are "copying him" by taking up golf, but I think its wonderful! It's something the 4 of them can do together the rest of their lives. :)

Computer Genuis

I got Ethan an educational computer game that he started playing today... he was a whiz!!! He was able to do all the activities without help and figured out how to use the computer in no time!
