Tonight, Jeremy and Matthew are building a coffee table for the coffee shop. I think Jeremy is doing the work and Matthew is just out there for entertainment.
We are moving the Youth Groups Wednesday night activities to the FLC so they have more room to hang out and worship. We decided to renovate the "party room" into a coffee shop type atmosphere and will be running a coffee shop starting next week!! We are on a time crunch so you'll be seeing a lot of work in progress pictures this next week. This is Jeremy and Brother Michael adding wood trim to the chalkboard menu board that is over the kitchen area.
Don't you love how God shows you the exact verses you need to read at a particular time?? I have been really nervous about having another miscarriage and after reading this I feel so much peace that by giving my worries over to God, everything will be okay. I'm going to keep this picture on my phone so I can go back and read it throughout my pregnancy.
Most camps go from Monday to Friday, right?? So, I was thinking Caleb and Jeremy would be home yesterday all week!! WRONG! It went through today, lol!! This is the Hilldale group going over the week just before heading home. I've missed my biggest boys!
The kids at M-fuge were divided into different teams for the week where there was only 2 or 3 from each church in a team. Today they competed against each other in a "Mega Relay." Caleb's team won!! This is him with his friend, Preston, the only 2 Hilldale kids on the team. :)
Andrew, Matthew, and Ethan stayed at the Syner's while I was at my appointment yesterday, they couldn't wait to help harvest stuff from their huge garden. Lisa said, they can come help any day!
I got to see the beginnings of our baby today!!! I know, it looks like a diamond ring!! The ring part is the "yolk sac" and the diamond part is called the "fetal pole." The fetal pole is what will develop into the baby. :) My appointment was to make sure it wasn't ectopic, check on how many babies there are, and to figure out how far along I am. Everything looks perfect!
Jeremy and Caleb are in Nashville for Mission Fuge this week. Jeremy took this at their Worship Rally tonight. He said they are having an amazing time already.
Yoshi could tell we had something tasty for dinner and hung out by the trashcan after we ate hoping someone would give him a bite. His eyes lite up when Jeremy offered him a taste of his bone!
The Harwells have been gone from Clarksville for a year now. :( They have been living with her dad waiting for their house here to sell (or rent). They bought a beautiful house and asked us to come down to help them move... are we good friends, or what?!?!
Caleb's girlfriend, Seanna, and her family came over for dinner tonight and the sweet thing brought me flowers! We had a great time hanging out with her parents while the kids hung out.
I've considered getting a commercial embroidery machine for the past few years and finally decided it was time to take the plunge! This monster was delivered today! It's a 16 needle "Melco Bravo." It can do so much more than my current machine and at lightning speeds! I'm looking forward to getting through my sewing orders faster, but I gotta learn how to use it first!! A trainer is flying here from Lincoln, NE to train me on Tuesday. :)
We have a new house taking shape in Azalea Trace. It's a great open floor plan that's going to have some neat custom touches. I can't wait to get to the fun part... picking out colors, cabinets, flooring, light fixtures, etc!!
The twins are at camp, Caleb is playing golf, and Ethan is swimming with DeLyla! These two have the best time together, no matter what they are doing. :)
I have longed for another baby for the last couple of years, but didn't think that we would ever get pregnant again. I had been feeling a little nauseous over the weekend and decided to take a test just for kicks. I was amazed when 2 lines popped up!!!! If all goes well, baby #5 will be here mid March!!
Witnessing Jillian being baptized by her granddad brought tears to my eyes... it was such a special moment! I am so glad we were able to celebrate with her today. :)
Our niece, Jillian, is being baptized tomorrow, so we drove over a day early so we could spend some time with John, Wendy, and the kids. We played Mexican Train Dominoes all night!!
Today is Jillian (my niece) and Fred's birthday. Since I don't have a little girl of my own, I enjoy making clothes for other little girls. This is my favorite fabric right now since it has owls and chevron. :) I hope she likes it!
I can't believe how long it is taking for us to get our plans back!! I finished drawing them back in April!!! The front elevation is now done but he still has to do the other 3 sides and finalize the interior. I was hoping to have it started last month, but it looks like it's going to be a while. :(
Caleb turned on the hose for Ethan and left him outside. I went out to check on him and he was having the time of his life! I hid behind the house so he wouldn't see me, you should have heard him laughing at himself when he stuck the house down his shirt! lol.
Matthew has asked Jeremy the last few times if he can help mow the yard. They look pretty funny riding around together, but Jeremy said he is starting to get the hang of it and should be able to do it by himself soon.
We spent the evening at Bryan & Karen Sutton's house to celebrate the 4th. The Syner's and Dowdy's were also there... it's amazing that 4 families have this many people and our 3 teenagers weren't even there! The kids had a great time with the fireworks and we had a good laugh when Bryan caught his trailer on FIRE! lol
Jeremy picked out these shorts and shirt for himself while we were at Academy Sports. While Ethan and I were looking in the kids section we found them in his size too!! He was so excited to match his daddy!
We got the kids back late last night and Ethan was already asleep when we got to them, so I had to wait until today to take a picture of my ""babies." It was nice to have a break from their constant chaos, noise, fights and messes, but even nicer to have them back home. :)
The fun never ends with Nana & Granddad! They took them to a place near their house that had mini golf, go carts, and bumper boats. They played 4 rounds of golf and Ethan got 2 hole-in-ones!!
