Another Sad Day

The Jones' came over tonight for the very last time. They are moving to Virginia in the morning. I forgot to snap their picture before they left, so they sent this when they got back to their hotel room. They are our closest friends and we are going to miss them so much!! :(

Very Sad Day

Today was one of the hardest days our family has ever faced. I was spotting over the weekend, so Jeremy and I went to the doctor to check on the baby this afternoon. Dr. Anderson did an ultrasound and found that the baby no longer had a heartbeat. We are heartbroken! :( Even though this baby was an unexpected surprise, we were all very excited to be adding another child to our family. We scheduled a D & C for Wednesday while we were at the doctor, but I miscarried in the driveway as soon as we got home from the doctor. This is a picture of what I posted on facebook tonight. We have already been shown so much love and support from our friends. I couldn't imagine going through this alone. :(

First Bike Ride

I bought this bike seat for Ethan at last Fall's consignment sale... Jeremy finally got around to putting it on his bike today. Ethan was a little unsure at first, but had a huge smile on his face within minutes. The 3 of them biked around the neighborhood for a while!

Caleb gets beat up by a 2 year old!

We went to the Harwells tonight to hang out. Just before we left, Caleb started teasing Ethan by taken a ball away from where he wanted it. Ethan unleashed his fury with screaming and hitting. It was so funny to watch and all Caleb could do was laugh. :)

The Marsalis Family

Our friends, Jesse and Cherilynne, moved away from here a few years ago. First they went to VA and now they are in NC. We rented their house while we were building ours. They came in town today to check on their house because their tenants just moved out. We really enjoyed catching up with them tonight. I stole this picture from her facebook page... she really needs a new one, they've had 2 more kids since this was taken!! Love them!

SOCCER!!

Matthew has been begging us to let him play soccer again (he hasn't played since he was 4). Matt Jones (the twins triplet) plays on a travel team and his mom asked if Matthew would be interested in joining their team. He jumped on it and had his first practice today.

Dog Bath Boy

Andrew has taken on the task of giving the dog a bath whenever he needs one. He does a great job and it keeps Jeremy or me from having to do it. :)
