Crazy Boys

When Caleb got home from school today, he had the crazy idea to put on one of Jeremy's sweatshirts like this. He greeted the twins at the front door when they came in from school and they thought it was hysterical so they wanted to do it too. It was really funny watching them try to get around without falling. We tried to get Ethan to do it too, but he refused. 

Caleb got a Letter!

Tonight, I took Caleb to his school golf banquet at the Country Club (Jeremy couldn't go with us because he had to present the annual budget to the church- he is the chair of the Finance Committee).  We were late getting there because I couldn't find my keys!!! We searched for about 20 minutes, then decided to go steal Beth's car. She gave us the code to her house, so we went in, found the keys and headed to the driveway. Her car was wedged in between the basketball goal, the house, and another car! It took us many forward/reverse moves to get it out... which made us take even longer to get the the Banquet! Anyhoo, we got there about 10 minutes late and really didn't miss anything. :) Here's Caleb holding his LETTER and the certificate that goes with it. :)

Oh yeah... I found my keys less than 5 minutes AFTER we got home!!

Peek-a-boo Doggie Door

I have wished that we had a doggie door since we got Yoshi 2 years ago. But with being in rental houses there was never a way to put one in. :( I got to thinking the other day that I bet they sell them for windows so I got on Amazon to see if I could find one... AND I DID!!! Woot Woot!!! We've had it a little over a week and Yoshi has finally gotten the hang of it and IT IS GREAT!!!!

Twins get to go Hunting!

Jeremy and the 3 big boys went hunting this afternoon. Caleb was in a stand by himself and the twins got in a stand with Jeremy. Jeremy said they were super excited to be out there and they had a great time... just didn't see any deer to kill. They can't wait to go back!

Birthday Dinner with the Harwells

You are probably thinking that this birthday dinner is for Jeremy since his birthday was a couple days ago, but it was actual for Nicole and I!! Our birthday's are 6 days apart and we always go out to eat together to celebrate. Since they moved, this was the first chance we've had. We left Caleb at home with the other 7 kids!! Love having a teenager!!

Out with the Summer, In with the Winter

Since we have had more cold than warm days lately, I figured it was time to switch out Ethan's clothes in his closet. I'm sure you are thinking that he has a ton of clothes (and he does), but the cool thing is, I hardly spent any money on them!! Most of them are on loan from Melissa and everything else was bought second hand. Between buying everything second hand (clothes, toys, baby equipment) and using cloth diapers, he has been, by far, the cheapest kid to raise!
