Cowardly Lion

A big event at CHS is their annual lip sync competition. Caleb is in a group that is doing a remix of the songs from the Wizard of Oz. His part is the cowardly lion, so I made him this costume. Isn't he cute!

Chapstick

Andrew asked me for some Chapstick when he came in from school today. I grabbed a tube out of the kitchen drawer and handed it to him. He put it on without a mirror... neither of us realized it was tinted! lol.

Best Seat in the House

Fred and Janet have been up the last couple of days helping with Jeremy's office. We met them at Captain D's for dinner after church and Ethan wanted to sit between them on a seat for 2. He was in heaven. :)

Tractor Work

Jeremy spent the day doing dirt work at the Meisch's house. He asked me to bring Ethan by to ride on the tractor on our way home from school. Ethan looked petrified the whole time he was up there, but said it was fun when it was over. :)

Play DATE with DeLyla

Hayden Winn spent the weekend with us because his sister was having a slumber party. When Chad came to pick him up Sunday after church, DeLyla came along and I invited her to stay to play with Ethan. Chad came back later in the day to pick her up, but Ethan and DeLyla weren't ready for their fun to end, so she spent the night and they played all day today. I told Raeann that DeLyla can come over anytime... they love playing with each other so much...so much, that I heard them tell each other "I love you" several times!! lol.

Childhood Trophies

I come home with boxes from my childhood that my mom packed up when she moved out of the house I grew up in whenever I go see her. We don't have a place to store stuff here so everything has gone to Jeremy's office storage. Since he is moving to a new office, we had to bring everything home. I opened a box full of my trophies that Matthew found very impressive... he told me I should leave them out on display!! Haha... nah, I think it's time to go in the trash.

Archery Tournament

Matthew had an archery tournament this morning. He said he did okay but would have done better if his shoulder wasn't hurting. I asked him why his shoulder hurt and he said, "from falling on the ramp with my rip stick a month ago"... A month ago!!! He hadn't mentioned it to me before now!
