Bro Tim asked me to make some shirts for the VBS coordinators. Michael came in while I was working on them and said, "you need to make one that says VBS Rocks!" So I let him design a shirt for himself. :) Before he came to visit, I don't think he had said 3 words to me his entire life. In the past 2 weeks, he has really opened up and come out of his shell. Monday morning when we got to VBS, he said, "Aunt Kelley, (he starts every sentence with "Aunt Kelley" when he talks to me) the only reason I agreed to come to VBS is because I thought I would be with my cousins." He wasn't too happy when I told him he had to go to a class without them. I worried about him all day and was super surprised when he told me how much fun he had when I picked him up. He couldn't wait to go back on Tuesday and even more excited to go back today! Tomorrow will be his last day because he is headed home on Friday morning... he's already told me he wants to come back next year so he can go to VBS again. :)
