Make your own Pizza Night!

We haven't had a "make your own" pizza night in a while, so Jeremy ran to Walmart to get the needed ingredients. The boys really enjoy getting to make whatever kind of pizza they like. :)

Argh!

We had a busy day with both flag football and soccer. Andrew and Matthew played in 3 football games this morning and then Matthew had 2 soccer games out of town (in Symrna), Fred and Janet came to the soccer games because we were pretty close to their house. After the game, Fred treated us to dinner at A&W/Long John Silvers. The boys combined the 2 and drank root beer in frosted mugs while wearing pirate hats. Matt Jones was with us because he is staying the weekend with us because his mom is out of town. Worked out great because he is on both the football and soccer teams. :)

Birthday Party Campout

Andrew and Matthew went to Hayden Winn's birthday party tonight, so I asked Chad to take a picture for me. They were camping out in the backyard. :)

Big Boy Haircut

Jeremy was taking Caleb to get a haircut today, so I asked him to take Ethan as well. (His hair was getting out of control!!) I told him that I was ready for him to have a big boy haircut. He came home looking like he aged a year or 2!! He has gotten to where he doesn't like for me to take his picture, so I asked him to show me his tongue and it worked!! Don't be surprised if I try this trick again, I bet you will be seeing a lot of Ethan's tongue. :)

Sweet Matthew

Jeremy found a folded up piece of notebook paper on my pillow when he went to bed tonight. It was taped shut and said, "to: Mom from: Matthew." I opened it up and found this drawing that he did of me and him with a heart in between. He is such a sweetie!

Good Deed

A few weeks ago, I was in Hancocks and started chatting with a lady that was in line with me. She asked me what I was working on and I told her I was getting supplies for appliques. She asked me how big of a design my machine could do (her's only does much smaller). Then asked if I could take her fabric home with me to applique a big tiger on it. I thought it was great that she trusted a perfect stranger. She paid for the fabric, then gave it to me along with her name, email, and phone number. She wanted a real looking tiger, so I had to have a tiger design made, then I stitched it out and mailed it to her. She asked what she owed me and I said to just pay it forward, that I was happy to help out a fellow embroiderer. She obviously took note of the return address on the package I sent and mailed me this sweet note and a check for much more than I would have charged her. It literally pays off to be nice. :)

Micheal's deer

Jeremy and his friend, Michael Blackwell, went hunting today for the first time this season. Michael killed this enormous deer (16 points). Jeremy came home to get the boys so they could see it and both him and Caleb posed with it for pictures and BOTH posted it on facebook. Everyone thought that one of them killed it. I teased Jeremy and told him he was obsessed with Michael's deer because he replaced his profile picture of the 4 boys with this one!
