Happy New Year!

We usually do a Life Group social on New Years Eve, but most of our class was out of town, so we invited a few close friends over to celebrate instead. I think I liked the smaller crowd better... does that mean I'm getting old??

Skeet Shooting

Caleb went to shoot skeet with a buddy today. I have a feeling he will be doing it more in the future, he said it was awesome.

10 months!

Just like last month, we were traveling on the 28th, so I'm a day behind again. Olivia's little personality is really shining now, she is so silly and loves to laugh!

Punk with my babies!

We stopped to have dinner with my dad and Tamara on our way home today. We went to a neat restaurant in midtown that decorates with a movie theme each year. This year they did "Elf" and had paper snowflake garland everywhere.

Grandma with my babies!

I love this picture!! Everyone is smiling and looking at the camera! That never happens. I think the twins will be bigger than my mom by the time we take this picture next year... they are growing like weeds!

Christmas at Grandmas!!

We drove over to Arkansas today to celebrate Christmas with my side of the family. Olivia is starting to get the hang of opening gifts, but still needed some help from Caleb.

Cookies for Santa

Ethan takes his job of leaving cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer very seriously. He didn't taste each cookie like he did in the past, I'll never forget that!

Office Christmas Party

We hosted a Christmas party for Jeremy's office tonight. Pauline, used to work with them at US Bank but retired a few years ago. She still stops in to see them and makes them cakes on their birthdays. They call her their office mom so they had to invite her. :)

Austin Peay Basketball

The twins scrimmaged another Hilldale Hoops team during halftime at the Austin Peay game tonight. Here is Matthew shooting a 3!

Flynn!!

I can't leave our elf, Flynn, out of the blog! He's been causing mischief all month long. Today we found him playing twister with his friends. No wonder he's our elf... he likes games too.

Annual PJ Picture

Corley Christmas!

Fred, Janet, and the Apples came to our house for the weekend to celebrate Christmas. We always have such a great time as a family.

Full Mantle!

New baby means new stockings at my house! I wish I had thought ahead and bought extras of the ones we used when Caleb was a baby, but then again, I would have never guessed we would have 5 kids!! I decided to monogram one for Yoshi too since he's part of the family.

Cabinets!

Kids usually get into cabinets on their own, but Jeremy introduced Olivia to the idea tonight. She was in the kitchen while he was packing lunches, he opened the cabinet and let her have at it.

2nd Tooth!

When Ethan sat down for dinner tonight, he showed me his super wiggly tooth. It was hanging on by a thread! We told him that it needed to be pulled so he didn't swallow it while he ate, but the thought of pulling it petrified him! I asked him if I could wiggle it and I pulled it out without him even realizing it! He was pretty mad at me for betraying his trust, but that thing needed to come out!

Postal Workers

I am so glad I don't have to do our Christmas cards alone like I used to! I put the kids to work and it gets done so much faster!

Flying Trampoline

We obviously had some pretty strong wind last night. We woke up to find our trampoline upside down in the cow pasture a long way from where it started. We are hoping we can salvage it by just having to buy some new upright supports.

Toby Mac!

Carter Sutton invited the twins to the Toby Mac concert to celebrate his birthday. It was the twins first real concert. They had so much fun, but Matthew said it was too loud. lol

Rob & Lauren's Wedding

Rob and Lauren's wedding was beautiful! It's about time he settled down and got hitched!

Rob's Rehearsal

Rob's wedding is tomorrow so we are here for rehearsal. Warren grabbed Olivia as soon as he could get his hands on her. I love his dimples!

Happy Baby

This kid loves to eat! I feel like she spends a lot of the day in the highchair. You'd think she would be huge as much as she puts away, but she is still on the smaller end of the scale.

Andrew's Baptism

Andrew has really been struggling with not knowing if he is truly saved or not. I told him I felt the same way when I was a teenager and was "resaved." He decided to do the same thing just to be sure. His dad baptized him at Encounter tonight. :)

Little House

Now Olivia is pulling up in her little playhouse! Why can't they stay little forever??

We finally have landscaping!!

We finally have something other than dirt in our front yard!! Now that the irrigation is done, Jeremy planted the base layer of plants in the flower bed. He's going to add more in the spring and that is also when we will put down sod. It's going to be a muddy winter!!

Where's Olivia?

Caleb has a thing with sticking Olivia in different places. Tonight, he stuck her in this trash can at Walmart. Caleb is her favorite brother and always goes along with his plans. lol

Breakfast with Santa

Jeremy took Ethan to his school this morning for "Breakfast with Santa."

After School Snack

When the big kids pick Ethan and DeLyla up from the bus stop, they usually bring her to our house instead of taking her home. Her mom texted me today to make sure she was here, so I sent her this picture to show her.

She's on the Move!!!

I put Olivia on her belly in my craft room while I was working today. The next thing I know, she's on the other side of the island!! She had pushed herself backwards through the tunnel underneath.

Cafe Customers

We are still doing the Cafe on Wednesday nights. it has really been a big hit with the kids. I snapped this picture of 2 of my favorite customers tonight. They both love to order a drink we call the Kerrigan. It's frothed milk with vanilla syrup. It was named after the girl that told us how to make it.

Peter Pan

Caleb had to make a movie trailer for his Drama class. He and his friends came over to use Ethan's room as their set and to use Ethan and Olivia. I think it turned out really cute! The camera woman did a really good job too (wink, wink).

Ethan's Christmas Tree

Jeremy set up the tree today and told the kids to add the ornaments. The big boys didn't want to help, so Ethan did most of it himself!

9 MONTHS!!

I'm a day late taking Olivia's month picture since we were out of town. She is sitting up well now and I have a feeling she will be on the move soon!

Michael's Birthday at Michaels

We went to Michael's birthday party at the Michael's Craft Store in Olive Branch today. The kids (and adults) made things with Perler Beads. I had never seen them before, it was a lot of fun.

Bass Pro

Jeremy, Caleb, and Ethan went over to Memphis to do some Black Friday shopping at the Bass Pro that recently opened in the Pyramid. They said it was more than a store, it was an attraction.

Thanksgiving Dinner

The family was scattered all over the house eating, so I snapped a picture of my mom and Mamaws table. I love that we always go to Arkansas for Thanksgiving (when someone doesn't get sick!)

Fisher Price Farm

My mom saved all of our Fisher Price toys from when I was little. I love seeing my kids play with the same toys that I did. :)

Little Pilgrim

A Little Pilgrim got off the bus today. I love that he wore it home instead of stuffing it in his backpack. :)

Sleeping on the job!

I put Olivia in her jumper while I was embroidering some stuff today. The hum of the machine put her right to sleep.

PSAGI (Pe-saw-gi)

The boys taught us a new way to play ping pong. You play with several people and go in order hitting the ball. The difference is.. there's no net, it has to hit the floor before you hit it, and you can play it off the walls. It's a lot of fun, we've been playing a lot lately.

3 Amigos

Ethan played Anderson and DeLyla's team in basketball today. I wish Lucas had been in the picture, he's on Ethan's team, then it would have been all 4 of the neighborhood kids.

Another Deer

Caleb went hunting today and got another deer. He now has 3 or 4 that are bigger than his dad's biggest deer. LOL!!

Andrew's Art

Andrew made these ceramic fish in his art class. I think he did a great job! He's keeping the little one and gave me the big one. We both put them on our night stands. :)

Caleb's Class Ring

Hard to believe that we ordered Caleb's class ring today!! The years have gone by so fast, how is already old enough for this!!! Isn't it pretty?

Bumper Cars

Lucas, the little boy that lives across the street that is also 5 came over to play tonight. They had a good time playing bumper cars in the driveway.

Lost Tooth!

Ethan lost his first tooth tonight. He was wresting with Matthew and a tooth that was already wiggling got knocked out. I'm not ready for Ethan to have big teeth... why can't he stay little forever!?!?

Little Helper

Jeremy and Bubba are working on the irrigation today and Ethan jumped right in to help.

Anderson's Birthday

Anderson turned 7 and asked Ethan and DeLyla to go with him to Kids n Play to celebrate. I love that Ethan has such good friends in the neighborhood. :)

Bonfire at the Syner's

The twins went to the Syner's house for a bonfire tonight to celebrate Cliffy's birthday.

Penguin Suit

Jeremy took the boys to have their tuxes fitted for Rob's wedding next month. Isn't this little guy handsome?

Giant Hole

Irrigation is going in this week, so Jeremy dug this giant hole to get things started for our friend, Bubba, that is coming over to do it.
