Little Gamer

We played a game called the Amazing Labyrinth at dinner tonight. I used the yellow peg, so Ethan insisted that he was on my team. I let him do all the playing for us (with my help) and he did a great job!! He was funny because he had to crawl up onto the table to reach the board, so he ended up just sitting on the table for dinner. :)

Illinois Hunting Trip

Jeremy and Caleb went on their annual hunting trip to Illinois this weekend. Unfortunately they didn't see anything but a few doe, so Caleb didn't get a deer like he had hoped. However, they had a good time together as father and son. :)

RA Practice Day

Jeremy and the twins are going to the RA Camp-o-ree next weekend and today there was a practice day for the boys to work on the skills they will need for the competitions next weekend. Since Jeremy is gone, they went with Cliff and his boys. In this picture they are eating MREs. They thought they were pretty cool. :)

Why can't yard sales be in the afternoon?

I went yard sale shopping for the first time last year and LOVED it! I swear I would go every weekend if they weren't in the MORNING!! There's a neighborhood wide sale here this weekend, so I got Jeremy and Nicole and Cliff and Lisa (and all the kids) to go with me. We all found some neat stuff!! I even got a sewing machine for $30! I've been wanting a backup since mine has been in the shop so much lately. :( Jeremy and Caleb left for Illinois for the youth hunt this morning so they missed the deal shopping. :)

Harwell Visit!

The Harwells are here visiting for a couple of days... aren't the girls getting big??? Ethan is 14 months older than them, but they look like they could be triplets in this picture. :)

Caleb's board game

Caleb had to make a board game for an English class project... Hello?!?! Board games are right up my alley! We used an old Trivial Pursuit game, painted the board and attached new pictures on all of the spaces. Caleb made up 50 questions from the book that he had to read and we made cards with them, then an answer sheet and game instructions. He also had to decorate a box so we used a gift box and my Cricut to cut out the words and ?'s. It was a VERY time consuming project, but I liked it more than some of the other projects he has had to do. :)

Puzzle Time!

The twins are both grounded from electronics because of bad grades, we has made them have to find other things to do for fun. Tonight, they got out puzzles, which I love to do and I'm glad they enjoy them too. I think I will ground them more often because puzzles are so much better than video games. :)
